CRSP Exam Dates 2026–2027: Windows, Deadlines and When to Apply
The CRSP exam is offered three times a year in two-week windows. Here are the 2026 and 2027 dates, the application deadline for each, and how to work backwards from them.
The CRSP is offered in February, June and October, in two-week windows, written on a computer at a Pearson VUE test centre. As of October 3, 2026: the next window is October 19–30, 2026 (its application closed June 1). The next window you can still apply for is February 1–12, 2027, with applications due November 2, 2026.

The CRST is offered on a different calendar: two windows a year, in March and August.

How the calendar works
- Each window is two weeks, Monday to Friday. You write at an approved Pearson VUE test centre in Canada, on a computer.
- You apply by the application deadline. BCRSP reviews your file, and some files are selected for a peer interview.
- When scheduling opens, approved candidates book a day and time inside the window. Book early if you want a specific centre or day.
- Once approved, you have 12 months to sit the exam for the first time.
Picking your window: work backwards
The deadline is roughly three to four months before the window, so the real planning date is the application deadline, not the exam day. BCRSP reports results 6–8 weeks after the window closes.
- Apply by Nov 2, 2026 → exam Feb 1–12, 2027 → results about late March to early April 2027.
- Apply by Feb 22, 2027 → exam May 31–Jun 11, 2027 → results about late July to early August 2027.
- Apply by May 31, 2027 → exam Oct 18–29, 2027 → results about mid-December 2027.

Costs to plan for
All fees are in Canadian dollars plus GST/HST: the application is $525 (non-refundable), the exam is $200 per attempt, and after you pass there is an initial certification fee (pro-rated from $300), then $300 a year to renew. If you do not pass
BCRSP allows up to two supplementary attempts within 12 months of the first unsuccessful attempt. A supplementary writing fee applies. Candidates who do not pass all three attempts have their file closed.
CRSP exam dates — Frequently asked questions
When is the next CRSP exam?
The next CRSP window is October 19–30, 2026. If you have not applied yet, the next one you can apply for is February 1–12, 2027, with applications due November 2, 2026.
How many times a year is the CRSP exam offered?
Three times a year, in two-week windows in February, June and October. The CRST is offered twice a year, in March and August.
How far ahead do I need to apply?
About three to four months before the window. For example, the application deadline for the February 2027 window is November 2, 2026.
Can I choose my exam day?
Yes, within the window. After approval, scheduling opens, and you book a time at a Pearson VUE test centre inside the two-week window.
